Dolores Del Prado
Dolores and her husband were successful art forgers, but some time after he died her eyes started to fail her and she started taking a more hands-on approach, casing museums and galleries during the day and returning at night to make off with some valuables! Her 17-year-old grandson now serves as her reluctant getaway driver.
Illustration 1 project: pick a name from the phone book and create a character from it. Magazine cover and 3-pose turnaround using at least 5 mediums (Ink, oil, watercolour, collage, digital)
Illustration assignment: 3-panel narrative.

I’ve always been a sucker for “reading takes you places!!!”-type things, so here is my contibution to the genre: book perusin’ by light of the anglerfish. Also I got to indulge my 12-year-old self who totally was going to be a biologist (ahahaha)

i did a project where i spent about 45 hours drawing hands for drawing 2 last year and that made painting this hand for intro paint surprisingly doable!
sometimes i text people this picture when i want to give them a high-five over the phone
assignment: buy a handful of mussels, steam them and bring them to school. light them properly and paint 2 arrangements on 12x12 boards. ask people if they want to ‘see your mussels’ and then sHOW THEM A PAINTING, HILARIOUS
